The burtal labor, sour thoughts, lucid exploits, and eventual addictions of the hollow (calloused Geist settles for less than), the new body of work by Amos Oaks opened this past Friday.  It was a beautiful night with a full moon and a packed house.  Black Licorice Blues came together wonderfully and was the perfect backdrop to glue the work.  A full documentation of the show will be available soon.  The selected image is from the piece "Laborers". Licorice Life Issue #1 has been ready for a couple of weeks, but we've been neck deep in a variety of production that caused the site to get neglected.  Here's a shot with Licorice Life casually placed with other coffee table books that might make you a more interesting person.  There are probably blogs out there that will instruct you on how to shop at thrift stores, garage sales, and junk shops to find books like these to litter your dwelling with.  Head to the Kitschen and get your copy before they get consumed.

A new monthly publication, LICORICE LIFE, will be available soon through Chocolate Shores.  Each issue will be limited to 100 copies and may be obtained at a discount rate for a yearly subscription.  Check back next week to place your order.
